In order to ensure that the pipe cleaning nozzle works effectively for a long time, maintenance work is not limited to cleaning and inspection, but also requires targeted maintenance in combination with the operating environment and the frequency of nozzle use. After each use, be sure to clean thoroughly, especially during high-pressure water cleaning, the nozzle will be exposed to various types of dirt and sediment, these impurities may leave scale on the nozzle's spray hole, affecting the smoothness of the water flow. It is necessary to rinse the inside and outside of the nozzle with clean water, especially for nozzles with small apertures, a soft brush should be used to help remove debris in the hole.
Regularly check the nozzle's spray hole and water flow direction to ensure that the nozzle's spray angle is not offset or deformed. If the nozzle's spray hole is blocked due to sediment, chemicals or mineral residues, it will cause uneven water flow and affect the cleaning effect. If the spray hole is blocked, it can be cleaned with compressed air or professional cleaning tools. If the nozzle aperture is found to be obviously worn or deformed, it is recommended to replace the nozzle to avoid affecting subsequent use.
In addition to cleaning and inspecting the nozzle, the nozzle's connecting parts also need special attention. The use of high-pressure water flow can easily cause the connection to loosen or leak, especially after long-term use. Therefore, regularly check the parts where the nozzle is connected to the pipe to ensure that the connecting nuts, sealing rings and other parts are intact to avoid unnecessary waste caused by water pressure leakage. For nozzles with rubber sealing rings, the elasticity of the sealing rings should be checked regularly to prevent them from aging or breakage to ensure smooth water flow.
Storage is another important factor affecting the life of the nozzle. After use, the nozzle should avoid direct exposure to extreme temperature and humidity environments to avoid aging or corrosion of the nozzle material. Especially in humid and corrosive environments, metal nozzles are susceptible to oxidation, and plastic nozzles may deform or crack. Therefore, the nozzle should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated environment and avoid direct contact with chemicals and corrosive liquids. During storage, a protective cover or a special box can be used to protect the nozzle from impact and scratches.
